During her tenure at a CPA firm, Tanya E. Bidwell successfully defended tax positions taken on returns, brought suit against the United States for faulty claims, prepared numerous tax returns and consulted with clients over various tax matters.
Bidwell works closely with clients, other attorneys and CPAs to help develop tax strategies involving succession, estate and retirement planning. She also drafts and reviews entity agreements and is well-versed in business entity selection.
While with her former CPA firm, Bidwell also advocated for clients in front of the IRS during the course of audits. She completed the audits to resolution, either through negotiation with the auditor or the IRS appeals process.
